I didn't want to go with the all too popular dual class Kensai-Mage as my adventuring comrade did, yet I wanted to have Mage as my second class which would be unlimited (As I favour controlling one lone character rather than a party). In time, I found that the Shapeshifter Druid fits the first class's role very well. Ideally, since lvl 13 comes at only 750K exp, it is a good stopping point (13th allows greater werewolf transform, 2 lvl 6 spells). One can also make the next jump to lvl 14 (1500K exp) and gain a 7th level priest spell if one wishes to spend a bit more time in development. At any rate, these druids are not allowed to wear armor anyway, which likens this duo to those of Monk-Mage, and Kensai-Mage. Lvl 13 is much more practical, and would yield a powerful spellcasting character with the ability to assume a powerful physical form that is easily enhanced magically (innate abilities of main char. work when you're a werewolf; Holy Strength sets strength at 22.), and has magic resistance. High ability requirements : Str-15 Wis-15 Cha-15 Int-17 , but it's do-able. Just my 2 cents! What do yoos guys think?

An interesting combo - I would have never thought of it. Generally I go multi, myself. But I like your idea - may have to give that a go!

I myself prefer shapshifter/fighter, but yes, shapshifter/mage is also good. know that once you shapshift, you wont be able to cast spells.

and by the way, anything involve shapshifter is DA bomb

I just firmly believe that Mage is by far the most powerful class at high levels. You can use innate abilities in werewolf form, so, technically, you would be able to use any spell trigger or similar preparation spell that is utilized as an innate ability. >:)

If I lobby enough, can I get a personalized title where 'elmister' or 'welcomed newbie' is? http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...miles/tdo9.gif

Poo. Oh well. I just don't get having shapeshifting ability if you're gonna be more physically powerful as a fighter anyway. Oh, and I think you can be hit by normal weapons in werewolf form, what's up with this? Supposed to be only silver or +1 hits. Maybe that's only Greater Werewolf?
