Has anyone else noticed some of the incredible things that NPC's can do that you just wish you could? Here are 3 examples that I saw....

Sgt. Rubble-after you go to the gunnery and play with the dummies, he's still there and tells you to get your butt to covert ops. He doesn't walk or anything, but you can truck your way there directly and what do you know! He's there looking like he's bored stiff! Maybe he has a ring of teleportation or somthing....

Al-Adryian-Poor guy-when you go to see him before you become a templar, he's got around 550 hp....in the room after you become a templar, he's gone to about half of that---talk about a mega-diet!

Al-Sedexus-First time you see her in the rift, she's got about 550 hp-after you become a templar, she skyrockets to over 1000---guess your night of passion with her was more invigorating than you thought!

Just some funny little quirks that I noticed *grin*

Myles is like that, too. He has a lot more hitpoints if he isn't in your party. He also seemed to fight better when he wasn't in the group.

Actually, Nightowl, none of the recruitable NPCs has a given number of hitpoints when they aren't in your group. If you'll notice, their hp are given as ?/? then -- that's so they can't be killed helping you out in battle and are always available for you to recruit. The only way those NPCs can die is if you recruit them and they die in combat (or you drown them) or if you talk to them and attack them.

When we found Vi in the wreck, she seemed to be holding her own fighting a couple of Savant critters. I don't recall seeing any need to cast a healing spell after adding her to the party, but at one point or another during play, I did read as much of some walkthrough material as I'd already completed. At least one of those seemed to be saying that there was a chance she could be killed if you were slow coming to her aid.

Maybe the author was exaggerating.

If I recall correctly Vi was down to about 20 hp's by the time I rescued her. Seems that she would have died after a few more rounds...Could be just pipe dreaming though ;)

Well, Vi is a Valkyrie, and should be able to cheat death to stay alive. As it is, though, we never had much trouble with the guards in that room, and Vi never took any damage during the rescue.

Jem, I'm pretty sure that I saw pretty high hitpoints for Myles the one time we tried to pick his pocket and he went hostile. But that was quite awhile ago now.

If I understood this right, you mean, that Myles can only die, if you kill him or if he his killed in your party. LOL. I dont know how many times damn slasher killed Myles. Myles has a lot more HP when he fights on his own and he has very much attacks. Only if you attack him, you see the number of HP.
Personally I hate him, you do his quests and get nothing.
