For those modders out there or those who just like to tinker, here is the place to post your favorite custom spell that you have created.

I'll go first.
Chaos Strike (Level 5)(Evocation)
Used the Sphere of Chaos Animation
Casting time:5
Range/AoE/Target same as the spell Sphere of Chaos
On a failed save vs. spells this pell will cause: (All effect durations are 9 seconds)
10% Chance of Beserk status (The morale failure type)
10% Chance of Having a Wild Surge if you cast magic in the next 9 seconds
10% Chance of 100% spell failure for 9 seconds
10% Chance of having Sanctuary
10% Chance of being Stunned
10% Chance of being completely healed
10% Chance of losing 2 wizard spells
10% Chance of having Blur status
10% Chance of being blinded
10% Chance of being Confused (As the spell)

Comments on posted spells are welcome.

It's a useless spell, isn't it ?

From a killing standpoint yes, but from a disabling standpoint no. This spell is designed to disable enemies. Combo it with grease so enemies get hit with multiplte effects. It's also party friendly.
Doesn't anyone play around with the modding tools at all?
Creating spells might take a while but it's fun.

Noctournal Fear
Level: (Mage Lv 8/Cleric Lv 6)
School: Necromancy
Casting Time: 5
Saves: No Save

This spell is a mixture of 3 others the effects of the spell on an enemy are brutal.

Spells casted at once:
Spook (As per level 1 Mage spell)
Blindness (As per level 1 Mage spell)
Cotigation (As per level 6 Cleric spell)
----------------------------------
I know this spell is a bit too overpowering and not original but hey. :D

Summon Nuisance
Level: 9
School: Conjuration
Casting Time: 1 Round
Saves: NIL
Range: Sight of Caster
Duration: 10 turns

At the end of the round, the caster will summon Neeber, champion of all of Faerun's nuisances. Neeber will begin talking to the target and the target must save vs breath each round or be driven insane(confused) by Neeber's constant drivel.

Neeber cannot be destroyed, and will constantly follow the target.

There is a 20% chance that the caster will summon Noober as well. Gods save them all.

As a Final Fantasy buff, I took some of their spells and stuck them in Faerun. Complete with nifty graphics.
Note: The spell Pain was originally intended to be used *at* the PC, not *by* the PC, during a specific encounter. It proves rather impractical for a PC to memorize, but works nicely against the PC.

Demi
Level: 5
School: Alteration
Casting Time: 4
Save: None
Range: Sight of caster

The target is brought down to seventy-five percent of their current hit points.

Pain
Level: 8
School: Necromancy
Casting Time: 1 round
Save: Death
Duration: See below

This spell lowers the target's Constitution and gives -3 to AC for 2.5 game hours. If the target has under 90 hit points at the time of casting, there is a 25% chance the target will be Stunned for one minute, a 40% chance the character will be stricken blind for three minutes, and a 10% chance of the character being Feebleminded. Save vs. Death negates the Constitution loss.

Ultima
Level: 10/Nether Spell
School: Evocation
Casting Time: 1 round
Saves: None
Range: 30-foot radius centered on caster (like Sunfire)

There is no record of Ultima that exists on Toril at this time. It was initially on one of the famed Nether Scrolls, and a high council of elven mages decided to destroy the secrets of this forbidden spell, for fear that its awesome destructive power would be misused. It does 1d10 each of fire, cold, electrical, piercing, and magical damage. There is no saving throw and it pierces through magic resistance. The caster is immune to this... if she wasn't, she would likely be consumed by the spell.
