Is it worth playing one since i am under the impresion that you cant get to lvl 20??
|
Monks are the most powerful class in NWN, as long as you do not multi-class them. Multi-classing a monk simply makes it a weaker charcter.

So is there a chance i can get quivering palm??

One of the reasons monks are such power houses is that they can take the weapon finesse feat and it applies to hand to hand combat. So instead of wasting points on str you put them into dex and get benefits of AC and attack bonus. |
I'll never understand how or why things are taken from strength dex etc...such complications...can someone explain a little further? about the Dex being used instead of Strength?
|
Actually can someone tell me if the Ambidexterity and Two Weapon Fighting Feats affect the Monks unarmed attack bonuses?

What about when using two kamas? I guess they should apply then?
And Monk's Acd improves as their wisdom increases right? Thus there isn't much need for the dextierty improving...it just seems i have a hard time hitting people... [ 07-14-2003, 11:38 AM: Message edited by: shadowolf03 ] |

Thanks...that's was helpful.

Wow...playing with a Monk makes the game extremely easy! Almost no magic hurts you, even main important enemy characters are easily taken down.
Spoiler!!!! I found the hardest battle was fighting the two dragons that guarded the entrace to Morag's Sanctum. However, I drank every single poition buyable and proceeded to kick ass, even though i used around ten Critical Health Potions.... |
