It's the trend nowadays to come out with action-figure toys on the basis of just about every movie or game (Pokemon, Star Wars, etc.). Here's some ideas for action figures or dolls from Wizards and Warriors:

Gorthius Action Figure: Cute rogue doll that runs for 5 minutes before self-destructing.

Mekdawa Action Figure: Uses 1 Energizer(tm) battery. Put it in and he just keeps on going, and going, and going . . .

Freyedies Action Figure: Cheerfully makes any item you want while you steal his parts from his backside.

Lysandra Doll: Comes anatomically correct. Tusk of Lust sold separately.

Scabban Doll: Melts over any substance. When pressed correctly, spews out a foul-smelling gas. Slime pack sold separately. Parents love this one!

Boogre Queen Barbie Doll: Comes with ability to transform other dolls and action figures into Boogre Dolls. When button on her back is pressed, she makes an assorted array of unorthodox noises.

Talking Sabastio Doll: No explanation needed. If you're smart, you won't buy the batteries.

Amazoni Mantrap Action Figures: Equipped with a homing device that detects any movement and tracks the moving object anywhere. When in range, releases a foul-smelling noxious green gas at the object. Great for gag gifts! Put one in your big sister's shoe closet for a real hoot!

Erathsmedor Action Figure: When activated, flies around the room and sprays moving objects with a jet of butane. Later, he will give you another toy that's worth far less than you thought it would be, but it stops him from flying around anymore. Can be used alternatively as a cigarette lighter.

Kerah the Protector Action Figure: When activated, urges you on to fame and glory. Has been known to suddenly go berserk and attack you. Just dip her in holy water and she's back to normal.

Scanthril Doll: When activated, sends you on a random errand. When you come back for your reward, sends you on another random errand. When you come back for your reward, sends you on another random errand. When you come back . . .

Torin Action Figure: When string is pulled, speaks in a ridiculously exaggerated oriental accent. Comes with a set of arrows that can be given to him or removed from him at whim.

Jathil Action Figure: Wanders around your house looking for a graveyard that no longer exists. Giving him a scroll of information has no effect on his behavior.

G'Ezzered Ra Action Figure: Comes with removable heart that fits on a small thumbtack. Urn of Black Flame sold separately.

These are just a few ideas. Feel free to add to the list, or make amendments to the ones listed here already!

Have fun,
Sazerac

skywalker 02-17-2001 01:50 PM

Rethpian Action Figure: Comes with a headless rat accessory. Gee, I wonder where the rat's head went? Yuch!

Moni 02-17-2001 02:08 PM

Hespheastus Action Figure: Walks blindly into immobile objects and turns around at a 160 degree angle only to proceed towards the next immoblie object and repeat the process until the batteries run down or the "Off" switch is activated.

A must have for todays 40-something parents as it will be a fond reminder of the trains and firetrucks of their own childhood days.

Sazerac 02-17-2001 02:29 PM

Moni: Hephaetus Action Doll also comes with a wide assortment of funky John Lennon and Elton John glasses!

LOL! I loved it!

Moni 02-17-2001 02:34 PM

LOL Sazerac! Thanks!

Also available for this doll: an assortment of facial bandages (mostly tape for regularly broken nose) and sets of new shoes to replace the ones which end up with worn out soles!

I couldn't resist this one:

1. Shinwiki Action Figure - Comes with a button that when pressed, says three different phrases. "Toad village is for TOADS." "Ukabu, come here." "Shinwiki like many things." Make sure to buy the accesory pack, the magical bag of yellow, and Shinwiki's Spear, which looks deadly but is a very worthless item.

2. Ratling Ninja - Your favourite hairy rodent. Complete with Ninja outfit, shruiken and if you shake him, he yells "Chit chit, yah pays fah pies!". Pies not included.

3. Gorthius Solder - A plain looking man that stands at attention shouting "Talk to Gorthius, not me!" over and over again. It even works if you remove the batteries. Some say it is powered by Kerah herself! Great for parties and social events.

4. Moat Pirana Bathtub Toy - This amazing little self powered toy is great for those hot days in the pool. Simply wind him up, and the little annoying fish will continually nip at your toes until you stop to smash him to bits. Great for the kiddies!

5. Gael Serran Model Horse - Made out of pure Adamantium, this amazing action figure only weighs a scant 5 pounds, but can safely hold up to any amount of weight without breaking! Drop it, smash it, drive over it with your car, even shoot it with Daddy's 12 Gauge! It will never break! A must for all you equstrians out there!

All items come with a 30 day money back guarantee. Void were prohibited by law, may not be sold to Pixies.

Another one:

Kol the Heretic action figure: Claims its the Chosen One to anyone who will listen. Other action figures disagree with it. Comes with set of keys and serpent staff. For some reason, it's a good idea not to get this one too close to the Erathsmedor action figure.

LOL Scronan! I think that's the closest anyone has come to posting on a thread! Not a second difference!

Great suggestions! Love 'em all!

I could even see them in the 'Antique Roadshow' in the near future!

"...due to the severe wearmarks on the chest and rear of Lysandra Doll, it would be a 70% decrease of its original value..."

Dwarf 02-18-2001 04:52 PM

With respect to that speach button on the Lysandra of Yur (AMerican pronounciation of your there ?) one slight alteration is neccessary,

the speach button is a secret bonus that is concealed within the doll (did I say doll? I meant naff Sinead O'Connor lookalike) and can only be reached and activated with the Tusk of Lust (tm). Appropriate lubricants are supplied with the Tusk of Lust (tm) but the doll might spontaneously produce some (or reproduce if it has already recieved such) when provoked into doing so by the accessory. The Hanbag of Death (one handed weapon) is supplied separately.

Stout Warrior action figure, comes complete with chainmail armour,a helmet with a candle on top,a caged canary, a battle axe, a war hammer, a crossbow (and rat pie amunition x 6, additional packs can be bought from any reasonally disreputable toy shop/ armoury) and severe alcoholic tendencies. The secret voice button (located in the back of the throat and activated by the insertation of a rat pie (or the tusk of lust if your realy perverted)) cause the model to roar a hideous battle cry "I do love a taste of Rat!" and go into a berserk trading frenzy. Also when left unatended walks stomps around collecting any assorted junk (unidentified short swords are a real favourite) and sells it to the fridge (repository of all supplies in the house) in exchange for food and beer.

Oh, I almost forgot, Adam Mage, they don't say that, it's "This one thinks he's a hero" I should know, I've heard it often enough. When facing a single woman or pack of fem's it will still pronounce these deadly phrases (p.s. has anyone ever seen more than three of these dimwitted fellows together, I haven't yet, maybe Saz'll stick something about their short sightedness and inferiority complex (maybe their hinting that there's more of them hiding in the bushes with bows, maybe their mates did a runner and left them to deal with the psycopaths/ heros heading their way).

Balgin 03-10-2001 05:25 PM

Back to top, this one was so good last time round that it's worth another view (and yes, the above post was mine).

I'd like to have one of these in class. I can see it now......

Professor:

freudianslip, elaborate on the implications of conversion to a copraphagic metabolic cycle during attenuated prey availability in certain Anisopterans.

*freudianslip presses Shinwiki action button*

"TOAD VILLAGE IS FOR TOADS!*

Professor:

Excuse me?

*freudianslip presses button again*

"UKABU, COME HERE!"

Professor:

"Ah.. are you implicating that prey availability is affected by the pheremonal, mimicry-establishing response of highly specialized Anisopterans?

*freudianslip presses belly-action-button again*

"SHINWIKI LIKE MANY THINGS."

Professor:

I see.. so you're insinuating that under extended periods of duress the Anisopteran may expand its traditional prey envelope to include entropically inefficient undersirables to substantiate its caloric requirements? True, true.. though a bit unorthodox in your proofal heirarchy, your brevity in analysis is refreshing. A+, freudianslip!

freudianslip squeezes Shinwiki again:

"TOAD VILLAGE IS FOR TOADS!

I do love that line... I actually had a dream the other night where that was ALL I could say, regardless of what anyone said to me.. it actually took a lot of the pain of decision making out of life.....

"Honey, do I look fat in this dress?"

TOAD VILLAGE IS FOR TOADS!

"Don't you think it's time you finished that project?"

TOAD VILLAGE IS FOR TOADS!

"Would you like fries with that?"

TOAD VILLAGE IS FOR TOADS!

If only life could be that simple.. hmm...

Thanks Saz for bringing it back!

Kol the Heretic action figure: Claims its the Chosen One to anyone who will listen. Other action figures disagree with it. Comes with set of keys and serpent staff. For some reason, it's a good idea not to get this one too close to the Erathsmedor action figure.

it should come apart in two when he's near Erathsmedor....comes with a whining voice.

Torin Action Figure: When string is pulled, speaks in a ridiculously exaggerated oriental accent. Comes with a set of arrows that can be given to him or removed from him at whim.

wind him up and it runs into walls....

Erathsmedor Action Figure: When activated, flies around the room and sprays moving objects with a jet of butane. Later, he will give you another toy that's worth far less than you thought it would be, but it stops him from flying around anymore. Can be used alternatively as a cigarette lighter

it has a movable jaw/mouth for biting (just keep Kol away from him).... treasure not included.

to add:
Temple of Ishad N'Ha prop for action figures who will receive continuous 750 experience points for delivering the scroll to Jathil action figure.

Kerah Help me....I love this! Let me think up a few more, I hope no one has done these, I'm trying to be original! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif :

Erzebette Action Figure: Comes dressed in cleavage showing dress. Also comes with free membership to The Gael Serran Feminist Alliance, supporting female NPC's in RPG's. If you buy the bonus pack, you get a special packet of love letters from Gorthius!

Cenatur: A mean and nasty looking beast and yells "You two steppers make me SICK!" if you press the button behind his head. This will also cause his back legs to kick and give you a good bruise, which is great for keeping your little brother from stealing your toys. If you shake him, all sorts of nice pieces of armor and weapons will fall out of his very large pockets.

Leprecaun: It is said that strange and mystical magicks have created this divine toy. It is known to dissapear and reappear at will. Comes with accent expansion packs, Cockney, Irish, and Scottish.

Uber Horse: A remake of the popular Gael Serran Horse, the Divine Equus not only has the adamantium skin of its predecesor, but also has the ability to scale castle walls and minimal teleportation skills.

Note to Parents: Keep the Uber Horse away from the Mekdawa action figure or your warranty will be voided.

Biggywiki Action Figure: A strange and mysterious toad. Comes with laboratory equipment and bags of herbs. Ukabu Brew sold seperately.

Monk Action Figure: The poor fellow comes in nothing but a loin cloth. The price of enlightenment must be high.

Valkyre Action Figure: Unfortunately, we are all out of stock of these. They are only available the day after Christmas, and better hit the stores early, since we only have a few.

Scronan 04-03-2001 11:44 AM

ROFLMOA Dying Sun.

New: Gnome Bard, when small button on lute is pressed sings a well known song, "Sexy Drugged up Rockin' Trolls"

"The Gods gave rocky trolls to you,
They gave them big clubs too,
The gods gave rocky trooolls to everyone"

New product: mangled limbs and fleshy parts accessory to drape in mantraps mouth. Includes the still pulsating heart of G'Ezred Rah (Cet decided that it would be a much harder place to get it from than some dodgy plinth).

Moni 04-03-2001 08:24 PM

I just have to mention that I bought my cats a "mouse" (size is more like a rat) that says "nah nah nah nah nah nah!" when it is touched and then it runs away...it turns around and goes in another direction when it hits stuff! It laughs ("HA HA HA HA HAAAA!") when it stops LOL!

Reminded me of the old fire engines and train engines I used to model the Hespheastus figurine after! ROFL! I had no idea toys like that were still made! I guess they are...FOR CATS!!! It scares all but Tiger (the fearless one) right out the door!

Wyvern 04-04-2001 12:20 PM

I used to toss cards for one of my cats to catch!! He was something to see - catch it with his front paws, kick it with his rear paws, do a flip and then land waiting for another card!

Knarfling 04-04-2001 11:13 PM

I have to tell you that one of the worst things I have ever done to a cat was to tie a string to his tail. He would chase that string in circles until he caught it. As he looked at it, his tail would twitch and pull the string away from him. After a while he would decide that he had had enough and start to walk away. He would stick his tail in the air and the string would swing from the other side and he would chase it some more. I think he chased it for two hours before he finally pulled it off. I was laughing the whole time.

Knarfling.

Moni 04-04-2001 11:15 PM

Adam, ROFL, our cats are happy with paper bags and such too! (we won't mention that Rex bought them a two hundred dollar condo that they use for a stairway to get out the window or that he also buys them a new toy every time we go into the city!)
He says I spoil them! All I ever bought them was a package of 2.00 mice that they play with every day! They pays fah pies!
