What about Hobgoblins? Should the B.Y.O.B. extend our benevolent guidance to these poor creatures as well? Are we all not products of our environments? So if we modify the environment, can we not modify the behavior? :D

hobgoblins are far too big and nasty to be considered despite their weakling stats, i mean come on 6 foot killing machines with bad breath and smelly armour ? almost as bad as protecting gnolls

True, but since there are individuals known as Half-Orcs in our society, surely Hobgoblins can become productive members of our society as well.

as promised before here is my success story about Kobold integration

It was a dark and stormy night, the lonely group of adventurers was ersting in a cave that offered some shelter, the Paladin Narice was sleeping soundly, when suddenly they were startled awake by the guard, a noble and wise little hobbit (a neutral evil halfling thief, but i never detected him for evil) was sounding the alarm. as we sprung from our bedrolls and drew our weapons we fought like madmen, slaughtering the viscious kobolds before we realised what they were, I (Narice) managed to get the group to spare one of them, his name sounded similar to a vulgar noise, and so in the name of reforming him to eventually integrate him into society I renamed him, Fuzzy Lumkins, after many months of protecting him, and teaching him the ways of truth and right, he eventually reformed and (upon the campaign switching to 3ed) became a paladin serving the highest of noble ideals, and protecting those who would scorn him.

Hmmm - Did you by any chance mix up the kobold with the halfling? You know, after all it was dark and stormy and they were of approximately the same size (and both got furry feet).
