Yeah, this sort of thing is difficult for me.. While I do believe that sexual crimes are especially heinous, and the people who commit these vicious felonies are without worth, I don't believe in cruel and unusual punishment.

On the other hand, there are so many land mines that need disarming in the world..

Land mines? A bulldozer can disarm lanmines, and do it better. Not-quite-humans are much better as organ donors. Harvest their kidneys to sell to the highest bidder. Time for those criminals to do something useful for the society.
