Aeris smilied and drew a normal long sword from his pack and readied it in front of him. <font color=white> I have been locked away in that dungeon for awhile so my skills will probably be a little rusty." </font> Aeris lunged at Cal with his blade.Using the flat side of the blade,he slapped Cal's weapon.Cal made a couple of quick strikes that Aeris could easily dodge.Aeris tried to make a slap on Cal's left side,but Cal was much better then he thought.Aeris did a backflip onto a tree stump and took defensive postition.

OOC:Hmm it's more then 300 posts,maybe we should start a new one?

Khaalran stopped struggling, in awe of how well the two men fought, he watched them parrying each other, ducking and dodging, thrusting their blades towards one another, he soon forgot that he was bound to the tree, and followed the flick of shining metal flash against the sunlight. He tried to step forwards, but the binding was still on him, he wrenched himself a pace or so forwards, then falling back, winding himself, and slipping slowly into deep unconsciousness.

Calaethis smiled, and with his usual elven grace, attacked, swinging his sword forward, then twisting it around mid stroke, to bring it down crashing on Aeris blade, a sharp overhead blow. Followed quickly by a lunge, then a thrust, then he raised his sword hilt to his brow, and stepped, back, mutally allowing the other to catch his breath, he waited for Aeris's signal to continue.

Aeris started to breath lighter. <font color=white> You fight very well my friend.This might just end in a stalemate. </font> Aeris chuckled to himself.Aeris brought his blade back up attacked.Cal tried a blow to the legs,but Aeris still blocked it.Aeris then took to the offensive.He used series of quick thrusts and slashes.He brought the blade down as hard as he good upon Cal who blocked.As there weapons hit it created a loud ringing noise.Each attack from both of them were smooth and graceful,each falling straight into place.Aeris used the flat side of his blade to slap Cal on the side,but soon got a slap upon his side also.Aeris tried for a blow to the legs,but was caught of balance and tripped.Cal knew that this would be a good time to strike.Cal got Aeris in the leg.He would have a made a play to the thigh if Aeris had not rolled out of the way.

Cal lifted up his blade again, and didn't make a move to strike while Aeris was on the floor, he was too honourable to do that to an opponant, insted, he replaced the sword in his scabbard, and offered his hand to the drow who was still on the ground.

Aeris accepted the help and stood up and sheathed his weapon. <font color=white> I suppose this might be called a draw.You fight very good. </font> Aeris sat down and leaned against a tree and closed his eyes. <font color=white>Wake me when we leave...</font>

Calaethis nodded "Your not so bad yourself." He glanced up at Dameon, "Might now be a time to start?" he said meaning his 'lessons'.

Shadow walks across the clearing to the urchin tied to the tree, "Hmm, child thief where are you from? Tell me a bit about yourself. You are light enough to make a decent thief with a bit of training and having a child thief around is useful for gaining entry through smaller windows. If you are lucky I might train you myself."
