Not to mention it had Patrick Stewart, whose performance was always top-notch.

you're thinking TNG

Calling the Admin and people that enjoy a TV Show 'nerds' lol? We don't need people like you around, name calling buddy. Grow up, and drop the childish antics.

Death to the unbelievers!

I'm a Star Wars person, which probably influenced me (note: I became an SW fan around the time the borg storyling was going on with TNG)...

I have to say, though, that I would probably enjoy the original series if I watched it, and I loved TNG (by golly, they actually used the bridge in that show!) but DS9 always seemed a little too much to me...so did VOY, which practically never visited the bridge (what I saw of it)...that's discouraged me from watching ENT, partially because I know that they're going to try to make the show "hip," and partially because I'm not that confident in a new set of writers.

I didn't care much for Enterprise at first. Most of the cast got on my nerves. Especially Tucker and Archer seemed a bit over the top (Malcolm is the man though. He's got about as many allergy's as he's got girlfriends back home ;) ). After having seen the first two seasons though, I've pretty much grown to like most the characters. Plus, the presence of an actual plot in season 3 (the war with the Xindi) is a nice touch. So as long as they stay well clear of time travel I am quite content. Of course, it still doesn't measure up to Deep Space Nine.

Man this is an exciting topic, 2 trolls posted in it before they got banned...
where they maybe the same person?

Anyway, I was a Star Wars fan too, until Gungans, Midichlorians and Greedo shot first, and basicly ST was always boring to me, not exciting at all. I remember seeing DS9 on tv once and though I would scream of boredom...
I guess I'm growing up it seems...

I simply love the ending of series 3 and beginning of series 4 of Voyager where 7 of 9 first shows up. Can anyone tell me in what series/show the Borg first show up?

Meh, I can't even remember when was the first contact with the borg, but I think it in one of the TNG episodes. Now that ENT has encountered the borg, they will have to rewrite ST history all over again. It seems that the producers are just as fickle minded as old George Lucas. :(

First Contact with the Borg was the NG episode where Q send Picard to the other side of the Galaxy

The one I mnetioned on the mid-to-end of page one, 'Q Who', where the Q and the Borg first show up. It's about the first time Picard begged anyone for anything.
