OOC: You give me a really hard decision to make.
IC: Plaxica saw that both of the combattants were going to go down. He did not know who or what that shadowy shape was. He had the decision to make of who he was going to save. Even if that shadow was another human being if he saved Rong Er that would probably also help him to save Mormegil. So with his decision made he dived down, grabbed hold of the now unconscious Rong Er, brought her to the surface and started pulling her towards the boat, holding her with one hand and swimming rather clumsily with the other. OOC: Sorry Elif, but my character did not know it was you, if he knew he probably would have rescued him. |
ooc:
No worries, water breathing is a beautiful thing, if the poison doesnt kill me in an hour lack of being able to breath wil, hehe |
ooc- *drumroll* Don't worry, I'll save you! *heroic voice*
ic- Lyulfe strode out of the room while Skye continued to wait patiently for an answer. "Did you bring the wizard back too?" he asked the bedraggled man pulling Rong Er after him. After helping the two onto the boat and making sure they were okay, he scanned the water, then dived in, heading in the direction the two had come. ooc- I'm gonna save you! No fun in killing off everyone :( |
ooc:
Yea :D Skye to my rescue. Where has the GM gotten off to ? |
ooc- sorry about the somewhat crappy post. I was rushed because the bell had rung, and I didn't want to be late to class.
*skye stands and gathers dust while mormegil expires* ic- Lyulfe continued to swim doggedly on, while cursing himself. He had forgotten that he wasn't the best of swimmers. Luckily, he spotted a strange trail of bubbles floating to the surface not too far out and, on a leap of faith, dived into the depths to the source. He grasped at the shadowy figure and slowly pulled the two of them to the surface, his lungs screaming for air. The elf checked his companion and was relieved to see that he, although very faint, was indeed breathing. "Now to doggy-paddle all the way back to the ship," he said aloud, his sardonic humour not dampened by the water, unlike the rest of him. "Once this mess is dealt with, I'm going to have someone give Skye and me swimming lessons. This is ridiculous," he continued to mutter under his breath while treading water and trying to keep both himself and his unconscious companion above water. EDIT- accursed thing, grammar be thy name. *scowl* [ 01-30-2004, 09:13 PM: Message edited by: Skydracgrrl ] |
OOC>>> Of course there isn't fun killing people off The poison isn't that lethal; if it were her dad who had administered it, that would be something else ;) Well, I do hope some of you did enjoy the change in pace of the game... I just thought to spice things up a bit :D
IC>>> Rong Er Her body drifted limply as it continued to be dragged towards the ship by Plaxica. She remained unconscious, although there was an occasional twitch that could be detected by the keenest observer, behind her eyelids. Her ashen face belied the herculean effort she had exerted before succumbing to her physical limitations, and her breathing was shallow, at best. From time to time, a sliver of fluid glided down the sides of her closed mouth. It seemed an eternity before her seemingly lifeless body was hauled up back onto the ship by some of the scowling inhabitants... |
ooc- I guess I'll just continue Lyulfe's mini-adventure, while Skye continues to wait for a response from the captain... :rolleyes:
ic- After what seemed an eternity of burning muscles and dog-paddling, Lyulfe wearily hauled himself up over the edge of the boat, pulling the wizard after him. He carried the wet creature to Mormegil's room and set him down nearby. "Another poisoned creature to tend to," he told Skye in response to her raised eyebrow. "Let me know if we are given permission to try and help them," he said over his shoulder as he strode out. Once out of sight he hurried over to the limp figure that was Rong Er. Upon glimpsing her face he picked her up and strode to the crew's room, where his and Skye's beds were. "Now this looks familiar," he murmured to himself as he looked at the prone figure once again tucked under the sheets in his bed. He reached out to tuck a strand of hair back, but froze and retreated his hand when Rong Er stirred. His face was blank, but Lyulfe was unable to hide the concern from his eyes. |
OOC>>> Larry, I've left a note for you at our cosy little hut Rest - I need to be off rather soon, if I'm not around, can either Larry or Skye drag her around or just assume she's fallen asleep again?
IC>>> Rong Er At first there was a blurriness... then the shades of white, grey and green weaved themselves, dancing about... she closed her eyes, breathing through her mouth. A strand of hair was bothering her, but she found to her dismay that so weak was she, she could barely lift her hand to remove the offending object. By then, the kaleidoscope of colours had morphed into recognisable shapes. Wall, chest of drawers... Lyulfe. A self-deprecating smile found its way to her pale face as she laid there, watching him peacefully and not saying another word. [ 01-31-2004, 07:26 PM: Message edited by: mistral4543 ] |
ooc- Lyulfe will tend to your character for you, no worries about that ;) we'll just assume she's very sickly until you are able to post freely again ^^;
"Are you alright?" Lyulfe asked in a worried voice. "No, of course you're not alright," he answered his own question with sarcasm, then looked back at Rong Er. "There was no real need to jump off the ship like that," he said gruffly. "We could have figured something out without having to result to something that drastic." His harsh words were softened, however, when he gently brushed back the offending hair from her forehead. He paused, then abruptly stood up. "I'll, er, see if I can get some help from Skye," Lyulfe said, then walked to the door. At the threshold he stopped again, as if having an internal struggle. He swiveled back around and sat at the foot of the bed. "I'm going to help you fall into a healing sleep," he said to Rong Er gently. From his throat a beautiful song poured out, in a strange language that Rong Er could not understand, yet it soothed and calmed her as the elf continued to sing, his eyes flashing an odd shade of violet. For a moment his body seemed to shimmer and waver into a different form... but perhaps it was merely Rong Er's tired mind that tricked her. |
Occ:Sorry I have been living at my grandmom the last week and she does not have internet and I have not been able to be online.
ICC:When the bodygaurd came they fastly closed the door to the room they where taking him into. Why did he yell...did hw not understand we are the only ones who can help him?
