I want to become a mod too, will a donation of $10,000 do the trick? or do I have to put in more 0's there? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Yea that soumds nasty ain't you glad we can turn a great thread about becoming mod into a getting drunk and puking thread! LOL :D

Simple answer to this: be a good example to others, be helpful, be polite, be friendly, be responsible, be impartial but fair, be prepared to make tough, often unpopular decisions, and DON'T try to push your own barrow about how good you think you may be. ;)

Being a mod isn't about prestige or having an ego trip or being the "king" or being better than everyone else - it's about making judgment calls and tough decisions that often make nobody happy - but it's also about getting pleasure from seeing everyone interact in a safe, friendly environment.

At IW we didn't ask to be mods - we got asked. If you have to ask to be a mod, then chances are you want to be one for the wrong reason. ;)
