Vaults? Where are these vaults?

In Vivec my friend. Look at the map and you should see that all the great houses have their own canton I believe.

Hmm...

I've never joined one of the great houses: was in too big a hurry first time through the game, and since I'd accidently irritated the ordinators, didn't spend a lot of extra time in Vivec.

Will have to go back there with my current character...

well, you dont have to join one of the great houses in order to rob their vaults... you just have to be a good theif. im in house hlaalu and i plundered ALL of the houses!!!

Yeah, I meant I just hadn't happened to find 'em...

No surprise, really: I only recently found the bookstore, altar and such down under the forigen quarter: apparently, I didn't explore Vivec AT ALL well...

well, it is HUGE. i found a temple there, with daedra downstairs that killed me since i was only level three, but i cant seem to find it yet.

i mean, its not fair, letting a level three try to take on a dremora lord and then not letting him come back. and please, no comments on the daedric shrines in the canals, im talking about an honest to God temple that had daedra in it...
