are you currently playing SoA with ToB installed? if yes, you don't need to worry about a thing -- after you finish SoA, the game will automatically go over to ToB -- whoever you take to the final SoA battle will be right there with you in the beginning of ToB (with character stat intact of course since there's no break in between SoA and ToB).

you've installed the latest TOB patch ? Otherwise some party members may get left behind in SOA when you make the transition to TOB.
