However... the Improved Bhaalspawns component of the Tactics Mod was made by Kevin Dorner( of Baldurdash fame), and in most cases, restores them to their original difficulty as envisioned by the game developers( KD being one of them).

I consider it and Ascension, as part of the official game, somewhat like the Baldurdash Fixpack. Do not worry though... KD is not prone to using cheese in his Mods. ;)

I agree with Dundee, you can not claim to have defeated Demogorgon if you haven't defeated it in it's original state.

Demogorgon was supposed to be the toughest monster in the game, but the devs thought he was too hard for newbies and weakened it a lot.

I am not a fan of the improved components, either, but I consider Ascension and Demogorgon to be official elements of the game.

You should really try it, it's worth it.
