drow elf can't love another?

I went to some website and downloaded a word document about your PC falling in love with teh female NPC's. It says an elf can't fall in love with Viconia. That's not fair! Cause I changed his skin color to be black and declared it a drow. Why can't the drow get along?

Because you can't play a true drow elf and Viconia has been raised to loathe and despise surface elves. Even if you could play a true drow, she's not real keen on them, either.

There are mods you can download that change race.

If you want, just edit the global variables using ShadowKeeper. Add the following:
VICONIAMATCH
CHECKVICONIAMATCH
VICONIAROMANCEACTIVE
Assign each of those a value of 1
Or just start the game as a half-elf and switch races with ShadowKeeper after the romance starts.
