It's called a PC and it's sitting on your desk right now, you're probably using it to visit and post at this forum, otherwise you're just a figment of all of our imaginations but I'd rather not get all freaky and philosophical right now...

If you want a decen RPG console system then PS2 in my opinion, but then again the only other thing I've experienced is NES and PC. If you don't want console then go PC. Gear up your vid and sound cards for gaming and for gaming sake go Athelon. Do not get the P4 that my brother stuck me with when he new he was supposed to design a gaming system for me.

Deathkiller, didn't you know? Every body on earth is Skitzo and we're all very real figments of each others imagination.

Hm...out of the Xbox, GameCube and PS2 I would have to say my favourite is the PS2, though the GameCube comes in close behind. Alas, I only have a PS2, only my friend has a gamecube, but it is amazing. For RPGs, well, PS2 is probably the best. There is FFX, FFX-2, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, the sequel is coming out soon, and a few more...can't remember them off the top of my head...

However, a PC is good too! (Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind...)

Thanks for linking that Goku Zool. I ended up with an Xbox, btw.

I think PC is best for RPGs. ANything that requires an active interface is better, IMO, on a dedicated system with a good controller interface.

Just read a review of the Halo 2 demo for E3. Sounds like it's going to be even better the the first Halo. So there are two excellant reasons to get an Xbox

I don't play HALO hardly any at all. I'm sick of "shoot the aliens" games. I play the heck out of Medal of Honor Frontline, though. And, NFL.

I say an X-Cube 2 with a state of the art graphics card. Now your brain will melt as you button bash your days away...
Seriously though roleplay on a console?!?!
