I know that there is a Tales of the Sword Coast section here, but this is a more general problem. I finally beat the warders at Durlags castle with only two of my people dying. Now, I can't revive them. I have gone to every temple that I know of, and none of them can revive my dead. And, no the dead are not chunked, they are just greyed out on the side bar. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but the two dead are Imoen and Khalid. I don't know, maybe I am not reviving them right or something. Somebody please help!!!

hum.. can you be more spesific?.. what happens?, in what way cant you raise them?.. have you made sure that the character supposed to be raised is selected? when you press the raise dead button, and have you raised people before? or is this the first time?

What happened was that two people died. I went to a temple to revive them. After talking to the healer inside the temple, I clicked on Imoen the first dead greyed out character on the side-bar. Then I scrolled down in the healers list and selected raise dead, for the price of 1500 gold. A weird whoosh noise is heard, 1500 gold is subtracted from my 17000 and Imoen is still dead. Imoen is not revived to one health point, but stays greyed out on the sid-bar. So, I try to revive Khalid. Same exact thing happens. I try over and over until I run out of money. Still, I have two dead people. I have tried different temples and everything. I have raised people before, and feel quite stupid about not being able to revive these ones. Does a characters level have anything to do with the ability of the healer to revive them? Anyway, thanks for your help.

I had a similar problem, but I have no solution, unfortunately. Imoen died on me while hiding in shadows and she wouldn't revive at any temples. I think it's like casting a heal on a character hiding in shadows - it doesn't work. Although, how a dead character can still be actively hiding in shadows, I can't explain!

The problem you're talking about is solved by the official patch. Just make sure to install the correct patch for your version.
