I'm a Neutral good Ranger. Many of my team vary in alignment. Will this change the outcome of the game if I remain at a respect of 20?

No, the end of the game will be the same regardless of your alignment. But be aware to keep a reputation according to your party alignment, or some members might fight or leave you.

That is true...a few optional story lines may happen (or be missed...).
You must decide what you want out of the game, then let the game run according to it's design.
