I tried to install it but Disc 2 cannot be read. There are no scratches on the disc. The two seperate disc drives on my PC and the two disc drives on my neighbor's PC cannot read the AREA0300.bif file and cannot copy it to the hard drive. I would assume that this is the DOCKS area of the city. I did a recommended install and played the game for about an hour. I could not enter the docks. The game would freeze and my disc drive would go nuts, just like when I would try to copy the file onto my hard drive. Can anyone help me?

first clean the disc ( you be amazed at how many people never, ever do this)), and then go for a replacement copy if it still dosent work. you could in theory get someone to lend you a disc and pray it runs with your discs in the drives, but that probly too much bother, and youd ned a full install anyway.

Well, for what its worth ... the manuals don't cover everything, are usually not well organized and it takes only a few seconds to answer a lot of these questions anyway. I would prefer to give someone the benefit of the doubt, but that's just me. I'm not trying to flame you on this, because there WAS one person who actually was boasting about having pirated copies and he got booted off this board and I agree with where you are coming from on piracy, but give some of these folks a break. please.
