if you cast mmm, and then hide in shadows (we're talking m/t or f/m/t here, obviously), and attack, is the game going to give you backstab bonuses for dropping the meteor down the guy's backplate? Am playing with mmm for the first time, having largely ignored it before (and having been rudely surprised to find otu the hard way that it's vulnerable to remove magic....)

I think it's subject to the normal rules for missile weapons, ie no backstabbing with missiles
