First, off subject, let me say that the Cane of Corpus (which it took 3 Death Bombs to kill Don Barleone ro get) is an INCREDIBLE weapon. Who CARES that it's also cursed. With so many Instant Kills taking place, why use anything else for my Faerie Ninja?? I only wish maybe ALL my party could use one. hehehe. Although I must say, now that my party is mostly in the level 15/16 area, the multiple hits per character goes a long way to wacking the huge parties of Juggernauts, Rank Weeds, Poison Seekers and Greater Seekers that I have been running into lately (up to 4 or 5 groups in quick succession on the short jaunt from the Swamp to Arnika alone.
Now...on to the reason for this post. So far, I have found and given to Antonne, all the required items for the Zanaryx Plate, Steelhide Breastplate, Beastslayer Axe and Ebon Staff. I have the Tanto Wasp Wings and the Djinn Eye for the Featherweight Armor. Where can I find the Plumed Serpent Feather? I might as well get all of Antonne's Special items. Thanks. |

You can run into Plumed Serpents in a few places, most likely being Mountain and South East Wildernesses and Ascension Peak. If you level too much more, though, you'll be getting their harder cousins.

Welcome SkyRanger! You can get one from the Mountain Wilderness dungeon. You are just strong enough to handle it. In the room with 3 doors, take the left one.
Edit: make sure you have good lock pick skills before entering these dungwons. [ 05-22-2004, 08:41 AM: Message edited by: Ziggurat ]

Oooh, i forgot, there are those fixed ones in there...save first, they don't always drop their feathers...
The Ebon Gem is in the same place you get the "words" the Shaman wants to hear. If you have a Portal you don't need to worry about getting out again, just won't be able to do much in there. |

Just remember that Antoine's weapons are not very good for all the effort you're going to put into finding them. I made 2 axes once and I was sorry I did. The staff is the only good item imho.

The featherweight armor is good too, especially for a Samurai. Seems to get more Lightning Strikes wearing it. Decided to stick with it even though the Hi-Kane-Do was +12 and the FWA is only +10. Of course, it didn't hurt she had the *light shield* so she was near unhittable. Some parties like my last never used the ebon staff, but my latest will (monk, bard, mage soon to be alchemist, and priest).
(Just finished that game with 3 cats, ended at levs 23-25, with a ninja faerie switch at lev 19 so not all cats at the end).

You get the Djin eye in the training course in the Mt Gigas cave (kill five monsters; the 5th is the djinn).
Another good item from Antone is the Z... plate, if you have a fairie in your party (i only use fairies for mages, but even mages can wear it) |

There are a few other Djinns and Imps, but they're not very common, and don't all drop eyes.
