Question Mark

( Slightly off topic, but its still Wizardry ... )

I was in our local EB tonight, and to my surprise I saw "Wizardry - Tales of the Forsaken Land" for the Playstation 2, complete with the logo we love so much !!!

Having completed W8 many moons ago, I'm going thru withdrawal symptoms ...
The reviews for W-TOTFL seem generally favourable, but has anyone played this?

Comments, anyone ??

Well I have just purchased it recently. First impression tells me that the gameplay and graphics suck. It will be an insult to Wizardry 8 if we compare these 2 games. Well i guess a console game has its (many) limitations. Well I have not spent much time on it though. Hope my views will change after a while.

Well i have just spent 5 hours on it. If you are expecting a Wizardry 8 type of gameplay, you will defitely be disappoinited. It plays more like 'Shining in the Darkness' than 'Wizardry'. Not much customization. A simple RPG like those that were on Genesis or SNES. The gameplay and the quests in the game are very linear. Unless you are a fan of 'Shining in the Darkness' like me, i doubt you will spend as much time as me. This game would be a hit if it was launched on SNES or PS1. But on PS2, I would suggest that you save your money for other titles.

This tittle is a complete waste of money, it is no way near wiz8.basically it's more of a dungeon crawling. but then again I already finished it.
