The 4400 - TV Mini Series

Has anyone seen this miniseries ?

Please do not spoil as down here in Australia we have only seen the first half and the last part is tonight.

I really like where they are going for this show and am quite interested to see how they explain the disapearences and the "powers" that some of the people display.

Timbo, this show was fantastic wasn't it? I loved the whole thing..... Some of the characters are actually quite well thought out.

Its a really cool idea... and to me, its new and interesting. It's like a plot that hasn't been done before, and in today's time, thats a rare thing indeed.

I'll be watching tonight with GREAT interest... Just hope it doesn't go for so damn long this time round [img]smile.gif[/img]

Waht time did it finish last night. I think I missed the last few minutes as I went to bed at around 11.00.

Those characters were well thought out and I can wait to see what happens to them all.

Did anyone else think that the little girl was a bit creepy ? Definatly something different about her than the others.

I can remember that it didnt finish too much after 11pm last night. Probably no later than quarter past. It ran late because of OZ idol.

I'm thinking that the girl is no weirder than the rest of the characters.... I mean, c'mon, we've had a psychic little girl thingy, reflex man, black and white girl (whom the fetus is apparently talking to) and a healer teenage boy. Not to mention Telekinetic powerhouse old man. LOL. So I'm thinking that this little girl is just as weird as the others... if not a little bit more well-adjusted.

I will be interested to see what the black guys power is. Nothing has developed so far.

Remember that healer teenage boy also can drain life as well as heal.

I liked this series but beware, the ending is not a real ending but sort of a set up for a possible regular series.

In re reading the post I see you probably have already seen the show. So they broke it up in two veiwings? Over hear they ran the series for about 6 weeks, with the first episode being two hours.

Yeah the last part was last night. They showed it over two nights with each night going from 8.30 till 11.15.

Yeah they did leave it open ended so they can continue the series, with the healing boy running away from home and living in the comune, the baby just about to be born (what the hell was with those trees?) and the final explination on why they disapeared.

Well it was nothing like what I expected, but it was still a damn good watch. I enjoyed watching it (even though I was getting a X-men vibe after a bit lol).

I liked how the end left it to the imagination (on the other hand my father is still grumbling about the ending)
