what do i do with the bits and pieces i get from ww island

butter knife of balduran
some flowers
the doll
other bits of balduran that i got no practical use for, anyone to take them too? the girl i thought i was going to give the doll too turned into a ww which i chopped up in one hit so not much good there and the flowers i dont even know where i got them from. should i just sell them all? (logbook is worth 5000 gold) or are there any quests still to do involving them?

i completed all tales from the sword coast quests including mendas etc and noone there was interested in my findings.

If you are off the island you can sell them all. The doll you should have gave to the girl before completing the main quest. The flowers were also part of a quest with the same person you had to get the cloak for, she or he (depending on is your male or female) doesn't attack you if you did all she asked. You only need one flower though so the rest of the flowers you can sell to the mage in the city.

None whatsoever--I Wish My Name Was Baggins even took it to the Keeper of the Portal outside Candlekeep to see if it'd let him in (the fee to enter Candlekeep is supposed to be a rare book worth at least 5000 gp), but even so, no dice.

i remember that thread but didnt realise was baggins had said it, oh well ill get my 5000 gold then

spoiler:

and yeah baggins, helm is in the back room of the inn helm & cloak (strangely enough) in a painting in the back upstairs bedroom.

the helm go to the place in northwest section, mansion house and kill the invisible stalkers, horrors etc, talk to the mage guy go on his quest and flesh the guys in the house you go to talk to them and one of them promises you the helm, then you follow his directions (i think in the harem area but not sure) you talk to a woman there and convince her to give you the cloak which she will with high charisma i think.

its a while since i did it so im hazy on the details but the 2nd one follow the quest and you cant go wrong.

Get up off your knees, you silly person. The thread was only about 2 or 3 weeks ago, to answer you question, and as for my memory, just remember that I have one simple goal to pursue in the realm of BG: Encyclopedic Knowledge.

Grungi, could you please edit your post to contain a big fat SPOILER tag before revealing the exact locations of 2 of the very best items in the game? IWMNWBaggins only asked for a "little" help, so I think a good nudge in the direction of Degrodel's house should be enough.

Here we see the reason for SPOILER tags. Now that I look back on Grungi's post, he did indeed say spoiler, but obviously in such small letters that Patrick didn't even see the warning.

As a general guide to all, don't provide answers to questions that were not asked. And please make the size of your SPOILER warning, and the number of blank lines preceding the spoiler itself, proportionate to the magnitude of the information about to be disclosed.

On the plus side, Patrick, that very same spoiler--the precise location of the Helm of Balduran, before I'd even learned there was a Helm of Balduran--was what drove me to create Volothamp's Comeuppance. So who knows, maybe you'll grow up to be as anal about this sort of thing as I am.
