I am planing on dualing imoem as a mage here soon, she's almost at level 5 with 65% traps, and 65% lock-picking. I want her to be ready for durlag's tower here in a level or two with about 75-80% trap detection. Would you recomend that i dual her to a mage at level 5, 6, 7, or what? I heard that you have to wait a level or two while you are at your second class before you get to use your first class's skills/abilities again.
What's your recomendation on this subject? Thanks.

for your Imoen to regain her thiefing abilities she will have to heve a mage-lvl that is GREATER than her thief-lvl. So if you dual at thief-lvl 5 sha'll get her skills back at mage-lvl 6 That means that you CAN wait until she reaches lvl 7 before dualing, but IIRC you then reach Durlag's Tower before getting her skills back.

You should probalby duel her now and if you think your thieving skills are too low you can just drink a few potions to boost them.(potions of perception and power work well)

Hhmmm...alright, i guess i'll have to dual her pretty quickly now.
Thanks for the advice, i'm glad i didn't wait to ask you guys until after she is at level 6 or 7. Would have been a pretty long wait before i could go to Durlag's. Thanks.
