THIS MAY BE A SPOILER I'M NEW SO I DON'T KNOW

If I summon a monster with a cheat then kill him and get the experience am I cheating? I don't think so but I'd like a second opinion.

There's really no reason to cheat, summon a monster, and then kill it, just for XP. If you're that interested in getting XP, then do some subquests. There are dozens upon dozens of minor duties for you to undertake, many of which provide en mass experience points, for menial tasks. There are so many monsters, enemies, quests and interactions for you to do, that there's really no reason to summon a monster to get extra XP.

I'm playing through BG again right now, and my entire party is maxed out (no expansion) and i'm not even through with Baldur's Gate (the city) yet.

If you're tryin to make you're party stronger, go on some quests. That's half of the fun of the game; undertaking strategy and roleplaying quests, and completing them to improve your character and his/her supporting cast.

Holy moses, i just wrote a freaking book!!!!

IIRC you don't get xp from killing summoned monsters (none that I've noticed, anyway).
