On Clerics and the portalbender guy

I noticed that there's lots of fighters, mages and thieves in BG 1 but clerics are very rare. Let's forget multi-classed clerics they gain level slowly. There's only 2 pure cleric, Viky and Branwen. Viky is evil, Branwen is neutral she complains much if you got a high rep. Too bad there is not a good aligned cleric. It's a very fine idea to start as a fighter and dual to cleric when you hit level 3. do you agree?

one more thing, during your journey to naksel you encounter a man called "portalbendarwinden" what's to do with him??

Portalbendenwinder is just another 'profet' that gives you a hint about the dark things to come/your heritage - get used to them - there'll be plenty more.

don't sell multiclass short (joke on Yeslick, Tiax and Quayle

). IIRC a multiclass will reach lvl 7 as a cleric - whereas a pure cleric only will reach lvl 8 - not that much of a difference. (I assume that you have TotSC instaled)
