There are two statues involved:

1)In Kiser's basement, there's three hidden
switches that can be found by using 'detect traps'
(two in the main room and one in the small bedroom
behind a door). When you press all three, it opens
the secret door that leads to Ardic, and Kiser
appears and attacks you like he normally would after
you talk to Errard.

2)If you got the Shakti Figurine it can be used to upgrade a certain item.

The Shakti Figurine is probably the most worthless item in all of ToB. The only possible uses for it that I can think of is if you happen to be a Mage who's used all your spells for the day, you can use the Figurine and be a little bit better at combat--for a whopping 4 rounds. Whoop dee doo.

If the Shakti Figurine *is* involved in an Upgrade, it's the first that I've heard of it, and definitely part of a MOD.
