Nothing fancy, or artful, just a few pointers on how to slay Sendai without too much aggrevation. I have plans on how to defeat Draconis and Abazigal, but Sendai always came across, for me, as a pain.

Well whomever you had in your party, and how you did it. I'll take from what is told and put it to use depending on what party I have at the time.

Why would you do that if Dundee offers to give you advice tailor-made ?

Well, personally I thought that Sendai was one of the easier encounters (I actually had more trouble with Gromnir).
I think of Sendai as a typical enemy adventuring party with the added modifiers (to your favor) that you don't have to face their combined wrath. Firstly, make sure your workspace is nice and clean. Wall up the entrance with summons or a tank if you can afford it (you need two other tanks to other tasks). The drow reinforcements are not a big threat, but if they are allowed to roam free they might be a pest to susceptible mages and archers. Now have one tank and most of the party gang up on the presently active Sendai, but leave one tank (or semi-tank) and maybe a summon or two to patrol the area where the next Sendai will be activated. Thus you will be able to pounce on the next Sendai immediately. Also take cues from the different Sendai avatars: Leather armor and light swords: Probably a thief, expect backstabs and invisibility. Robes or staves: Expect a lot of spells. Chainmails or such: Expect a more capable fighter. Remember, we are talking drow: Always expect some kind of spells. Don't burn your fuel all at once. Spread out the more powerful spells and abilities evenly and use up some of your less impressive ones inbetween. Remember that planetars and solars can be stand-ins for most other character jobs.
