A Request (please read)

Could people be a bit more careful about the title of their posts please.
I don't have the expansion yet, but I still have a look in here from time to time to see if there is any news about release dates etc... This means I have to read the titles of the post, some of which I think have spoiled what happens in the game. I'm sure its' the same for others even those who have the game.

I'm not saying don't post, just be a bit more selective with what you put in your titles, it would be greatly appreciated.

This has already been covered before. Most of us are aware of spoilers and topics and have taken appropriate action. *sigh*

But I gotta agree, this forum out of most seems to have the most trouble. Althought recently I haven't seen hardly any, and I'm not sure which specific topics you are talking about (?)

Well the title Drow BhaalSpawn in Final Battle sure sounds like a spoiler to me. Shouldnt someone just say FINAL BATTLE?

The topic title LoA mentioned is the exact one I am talking about or 'help with puzzle torches....WK level 4' couldn't they just say 'WK level 4 help needed'...there aren't that many of them but I am playing through ToB right now and I already feel like I have played the game

Again sorry about the language in the above post. I or you for that matter can delete it if you feel it is too offensive.

Now the game is ruined because there is a torch puzzle good gosh talk about extremists. Why does it matter if you know there are puzzles In watchers keep ones that involve torches those that really ruin the game for you?

Worm does have a point here, moridin. There's only so much people can do to try and stop spoilers from being revealed. The "Final Battle with Drow Bhaalspawn" was badly worded and made it look like the final battle was revealed when in fact it wasn't. It would still be a good idea to put a spoiler tag on the title, as there is information about the battle which is revealed inside, just as a precaution.

The "level 4 torches" one is not really a problem unless you clicked on it and read it. Even if a post does not have a spoiler warning, obviously use common sense and don't click on it if you haven't gotten to level 4 yet.

What is most disappointing for me is the tone that people on both sides (spoilers and spoilees alike) are using against each other. People make mistakes, they sometimes don't think, whatever. There's no call for either side to start flaming because of it. Morodin I know it's frustrating for you but please keep your temper as an aggressive response does not help things. Just email me in future. Worm, I know you've just come back, now you know the guidelines. Both of you end this before it goes any further, please.

Yep, but it's always good to remind people, also there may be new members here.

I can't remember the exact titles now (it was a while ago), but it didn't seem to be a major problem. It's also hard for me to know in some cases if it is a spoiler or not, because I don't know what info you're given in the game yet. I would consider things like the Level 4 torches non-spoilers, but things about giant hearts and drow bhaal spawns (not the 'final battle thing') slight spoilers - I think they do give some indication of the plot (if you are prepared to make assumptions).

Anyway, things seem to have sorted themselves out - thanks ppl. I've not long to wait now, I must be strong and resist peeking.
