Does Jaheria get raise dead (poss spoiler)

Does jaheria get raise dead (harpers call for her) in baldurs gate one or is that not until bg2?

Let's see Raise Dead is a 5th level spell, so she would have to be 9th level to get it, therefore without cheating the answer would be no.

I have heard that Faldorn is the only priest who gets level 5 spells in BG1/Tales. Is this so? If so, what is her situation such that she gets to reach level 9 (whereas Jaheira doesn't)?

I also think Branwen can level 5 spells too.

Nope, Faldorn doesn't get it either--it seems to be a Cleric-only spell. I once made my own Druid & took him to Level 10, but the only Level 5 spells he learned were Critical Wounds (Yeah!) and another Animal Summoning (boring....). So to get Raise Dead & Flamestrike in BG1 you'd have to take a Cleric past the XP cap, or install DSotSC or something.

animate dead is a level 3 cleric spell fools. and only clerics get it( not druids) so you dont have to cheat to use animate dead.

Mossy's reference to cheating may have been about using Gatekeeper, RM.

When i posted this i forgot what level raise dead was and quickly looked in the BG manual. In there it kind of looks like it is a level 4 spell so i thought jaheira might get it.

Getting past the Exp cap is one way...

, but that wouldn't be cheating. After you install TOTSC the EXP.CAP is raised considerably.
