The Road to Kangaxx (Tactics Mod) -Spoilers

I know there have already been previous posts about the famed lich before, but this may sound weird but out of all the times I've played the game I never fought him. But now I have the Tactics Mod installed and I had the legs and torso, but when I enter the building, I get ambushed by two Liches and Minotaurs and they tear me a new one with a double or triple AHW. Any help on this?

They are his Guardians.Watch out for the Dwarf.He has Vorpal hits.Some info about ypur party would be nice too.

I believe both liches start off with a CC of 3 ADHWs .. not a real problem if you cast PfmE beforehand. I once encountered this glitch where the CC kept firing ( happens to cowles sometimes too ) .. didnt have any magic damage resistance .. It's amazing how fast you die when 20+ ADHWs fly towards you

Anywayz .. IIRC both liches are going to summon Skeleton warriors like crazy, while the fighters occupy you. Get those liches done with as soon as possible, or use some PfU-scrolls ( There are quite a lot of those in the game anyway ).

Ok, shouldn't be too much of a problem, and as I said before, I've never fought him and I've heard of him transforming. Can anyone fill me in on that?

By the way Xen, I'm not quite there yet, I said I used to have his body parts, but that was on another data. Right now I'm soloing a F/M/T on Core rules I think.

[img]tongue.gif[/img] If you've never fought I'm not going to fill you in, too much fun discovering it yourself.
I'd be nice to know your lvls though ( especially interested in the level of your mage-part ) and what weapons you have.

Definetly with the two liches and numeral undead on the top floor .. I'd say Daystar and undisputably the Mace of Disruption are going to be your best bet.
For added effect you could cast a Greater Malison too.

I'd avoid PfU untill you have nowhere else to turn .. since it does sort of take the challenge out of the fight [img]smile.gif[/img]

Alignment: Chaotic Nuetral
Classes: Fight/Mage/Thief
Levels: 9/11/11
Weapons-
Main Hand: DoE +2
Off Hand: Daystar

I'm about to venture into the sewers in the Cult of the Eyeless quest, but this is what I have so far.

Enter building, exit building, enter building again. Result? 2x3 Abi-Dalzim's stored in CC's go to waste, fortunately for you.

Note that neither of these two Liches will throw up any real protection magics, making them far easier to take out than the average Lich.

Alright, problem here guys. Right now, I have Daystar in one hand and DoE in the other, but when I cast Sunray, it only affects one of Kangaxx's guardian liches, and the one it doesn't affect constantly casts Time Stop and summons more guys to pile atop me. Rataxes was right though, the Liches don't throw up much protections magics.

But here's the thing I want to know, and I know this is cheap with a whole case of cheese on it. Why is it when your opponent is under an Invisiblity effect or is in a Santuary spell, you can't target him with spells, but Liches can?

Well, nevermind about that, I got past the guardians, and now I beat Kangaxx's first form but he's nearly invincible in the second. When I say "invincible", I mean I can barely hit him, not he beats me in a few rounds, but here's the story so far.

I cast Stoneskin, and Spell Immunity Abjuration effect, and when he goes into his second form, he'll cast Time Stop, Teleport Field, and Imprisonment. Now, here's the thing that is kind of scaring me. I think Kangaxx the Demi-Lich as -infinite- spells stored, and the reason I say this is because while I had Spell Immunity up, he casted 40+ Imprisonment Spells on me [img]graemlins/uhoh1.gif[/img] He casts Demilich Howl, then casts out 7 Imprisonments and he did it so many times it was up over 40. And by the way, Daystar's Sunray attack has 0 effect on him.

Any advice?
