Technical problem with Sola Mod... Need help...

Ok, I downloaded the Sola Mod and when I installed it, there were some errors but the thing said install successful, so I exit it and tried it out but the mod wasn't applied... Can anyone help me around here???

This kind of advice will apply to all errors you report in life: be more specific.

What errors were reported?

Do you remember that part where it told you to take the file SETUP-SOLAUFEIN.DEBUG and email it to me? It contains a verbatim transcription of the installation attempt, which saves you the trouble of trying to remember what went on. Send it to me and I'll let you know what I think happened.

Assuming you have a modern version of Solaufein (e.g., it was a self-extracting EXE file), the most common errors are running out of disk space and having some other program (like ShadowKeeper, InfExp or BG2) open that reads dialog.tlk.

Make sure that you have the most recent version of Solaufein from http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~weimer/bgate . Make sure that you first installed the official bioware patch and then baldurdash (as per the installation instructions). Try again. If you're still having problems, email me the DEBUG file.

Good luck, and I'm sorry that you're getting bitten by bugs.
