i hate vampires!

hey everyone.......im a newb here as u can c.....
well i just beated SoA with my sorcerer.....and i wanted to start a fighter....well i got to the parts where i am now fightin bodhi's vamps at night....and they r level drainin me....and since ammulet of power can't be used by fighters...is there any items out there that has negative plane protection when equipped?

plz help me out

First, welcome to Ironworks Forums, Dark Soul! [img]graemlins/happywave.gif[/img]

Second, find the Mace of Disruption +1 and have Cromwell upgrade it for you. The Improved Mace of Disruption grants immunity to Level Drain.
You can also use the Clerical spell Negative Plane Protection.

If you have been level drained, use (Lesser) Restoration. Your Cleric should have it, and you can buy it in Temples, too.

Don't go for negative plane protection, go for total immunity to the bastards! A scroll of protection from undead is just the ticket (though considered by most to be too cheezy).

besides, negative plane protection has a pretty short duration, if i recall correctly

Lesser Restoration doesn't help IIRC.

Easy way to clean an entire room of vamps at no danger to your self. Make sure your Cleric is about level 14 or 15, turn on sanctuary, leave your party tucked away in a safe place, then go forth with turn undead on. Vamps explode into meaty bits and finally your Cleric feels like they contributed to combat [img]smile.gif[/img]
