Welcome back, MJG!

It's been so long that I had to look up some of your old posts... and I see you made comments on more than a few of my peasant adventure postings! Hmmm... after reading a couple myself, I think I'm going to have to go back into the library to read them as well.

*edit* Damn! I just got done rereading Missy's story... couldn't stop once I started! And I'm not saying that 'cause I wrote it... hell, I forgot more than I remembered!

I'm going to have to spend some time putting the Gael Serran Library back in order. It didn't do well in the move to the new forums...

Hey!!! Hi ya MJG!!!! Glad to see you stopping in to say hello!!

Also good to hear that you've gotten W&W to work without any difficulties!! As you can see from the recent posts not everyone has been so fortunate!

Hope you will be posting more while you are replaying W&W!!!

Greetings, fellow adventurers!

It has been a very long time since I've stalked these hallowed forums, and I'm still amazed that they continue after all these years!

Other newer, more popular games have less activity in their forums now than this one has!

I think I may attempt to enter the Gael Serran once again. If I recall correctly, my last attempt was thwarted by the dreaded XP town bug, and I was too timid to attempt the fix.

On a side note, does anyone know where to view Sazerac's Gael Serran Newspaper- especially the 25th anniversary edition? It featured the annual Crypt party event. Very funny stuff. I'd love to see that again.

Welcome Back Dr. Pick!!!

You'll have to keep us up to date on your progress through Gael Serran!!

Saz's Newspapers are in here somewhere - I'm just not sure where.
Will have to do some ferreting around!

Okay - posted this in the Library sticky as well and it should work:

http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/...d=731106&pp=50

That should ferret out the Gael Serran Examiners

Thanks, Wyvern, but it gave me a bulletin message...

"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Same story when I attempted to follow the hyperlink too.
As for the town bug, it is simple enough to fix. VirtualDub is freeware and easy to use. What you are required to do is a straightforward Save As routine, it requires no knowledge of graphics or anything else.

WELL drat -

Do an ADVANCED SEARCH for "Gael Serran Examiner" by Sazerac and you should get two pages of results!
