I've been meaning to post this since the early Spring, but I haven't gotten around to it. I've loved Jeeps since I was a kid, and while I bought a new one in '95, I had to sell it to get a minivan for our expanding family a few years later. Finally I got another one. It is a bit older than the first, but in awesome shape. It will probably never snow here again, but if it ever does watch out.... because I'll have no excuse to stay out of work.

It is a '91 Wrangler. Actually 1991 marked the 50th anniversary of Jeep, but this isn't, and I don't think there even was, a commemorative model.

EDIT - Apologies to Arledrian.

Sweet! I retired my 86 CJ for the same reasons a few years back. I just can't do the minivan thing, so got a cool 'sporty' wagon instead.

Thanks guys!

Felix, my next Jeep is going to be one of the older CJ models. Hopefully a 7. I love those fat round headlights.

I meant to put a HAHA after the 'missing work' remark because I don't get to miss work.

I work at a 911 office, and if the weather is too bad for me to drive, they send the police to pick me up. If I have to work regardless of the weather, I'd prefer to get there under my own steam.

oooo! When I was a teenager, my dad got a CJ7 three-tone blue with the whole ragtop deal.

It was a BLAST!

Nice ride there, Ronn. Hope you really enjoy it.

The General is impressed with your wheels. You couldn't pop over to Scotland to gives a shot? As I'm just starting to learn to drive myself. Hmmmm

They do say vehicles with tires the size of monster truck tires actually float. I might be willing to try it, but there is just to much hurricane action in the Atlantic this season.

Nice stuff. My dad just got himself a new Landrover 2004 series, with leather seats etc. Nothing compared to your beast though. I must say it looks like you take good care of it, it's very clean (if indeed that is your one) and the tires look nice.Have fun!)
