Just out of curiosity - almost all of my chars go down the arcane route and so don´t have a decent strenght, e.g. for carrying around all the neat stuff you find on your way.
What are the best strength enhancing items you find in the OC ? Besides the amulet you can get from Daelan. In my experience you are literally *bombarded* with items enhancing one or the other stat (e.g. wisdom or charisma) but very rarely you come across items enhancing your strength.

Belts are the best in my opinion - I think in the OC you can find some that are +4, in HOTU you can get one's that are +10 to strength. Also, gaunlets of Ogre Power run from +1 to +2 in the OC, and up to +4 elsewhere. Also, you can get a full set of gear once owned by Lord Nasher, which includes a handy ring with a Strength enhancement.

In chapter 1 there are very few items indeed. Belts start appearing in chapter 2. And other items too.

You should consider buying some magical bags; they reduce the weight of items inside them. Bags of Holdings are the best. In my opinion, these bags are preferable as you always need the glove or belt slots for something else.

Thanks for your answers !!!

This is my 3rd run throught the OC but I never found decent *strength* items - maybe I should look for *Goggles of the Eagle´s Eye* before continuing ...

Bulls Strength will get you by as well. Or, if you have lots of stuff to sell and weighted down, just cheat and juice up your strength to carry everything back to the store, then lower it again. There's just too much stuff to leave behind! The bags make a huge difference too. As soon as you have the money, buy the 80% one. Use the low end one for points and another for arrows if you want to keep your inventory neat.
