BG2 Bar Part 5 - The Final Tavern Here

[Encard]

Encard zaps himself to the ship with his Wand of Transportationish Stuff. He looks arounds.
Encard: Interesting... Yes... Very interesting...
Something suddenly hops out of the ship and attempts to dance! It looks like... a zombie weearing a bright green cloak! Everyone stares at it in horror, missing the rest of the undead, which are slowly creaping up on them from another side of the ship. As they move into position, the zombie turns and suddenly tries to stick a longknife into Melusine's gut! She dodges, and a large hammer suddenly falls on its head, courtesy of Encard's Large Falling Hammer Ward spell. Then, the horde of evil undead attack! Chaos breaks loose on the deck, as combatants try to kill each other. Death!!! There are several larger undead, likely Skeleton Warriors, as well as some Vampires, Mummies, Greater Mummies, Crypt Lords, and even a few Liches! Chaos breaks loose! Encard mummbles something sounding like, "Vesi Alia Phaeros" (or is it Daros?), and a globe of greenish light shoots from his hands, striking one of the Vampires and disintegrating it. In the chaos, he can not see what the rest are doing, except for the sounds of death and... how do you kill undead?... err... remortifying...
He says something sounding like, "Kio Vocho Desi," just as a small group of undead reach him,(these undead are more organized than many... often, they just attack mindlessly), and a blast of multicolored light shoots from his fingers, turning some of the skeletons to stone, disintegrating other undead, and generally causing destruction and havoc. Gaps have begun to appear in the undead's ranks due to the companion's efforts, but more swarm in where others fall. Encard mumbles another spell, this time saying, "Incantus Pulcar Imperium,", and a huge hoard of lightning bolts shoots from his fingers, smashing several scores of skeltons to bits, and hurting other, tougher undead. Two campires rush at him, but Encard backflips out of their reach as they lunge at him and cuts one down with his Big Glowing Longsword. The other begins chanting a spell, but in the middle of its casting, Encard runs it through with his blade. The battle continues...

His anger forms into a huge beast of mental energy which smashes into the undead, scattering them like ninepins. The offending undead near Mel are torn apart limb from limb and thrown into space

As he says another incantation, meteors rain from the sky, destroying scores of undead monsters. The others pause for a moment, giving Encard enough time to mumble off another spell, the words Vita Mortis Caraero slaying yet more. The creature's ranks have grown much thinner by now, but they finally figured out that it was not wise for them to sit back and let Encard blast them to little pieces with his powerful magic. A group of skeleton warriors, five vampires, and a crypt king rush at him as fast as they can, while a lich chants its spells in thw background. By this time bleading from several cuts inflicted by undead that got too close to him, Encard does not relish the idea of melee with a horde of the more powerful creatures, so just before they reach him, he enacts a levitation spell and rises above their reach. From here, he sees the lich fall, probably from one of his comapnion's efforts. However, he immediately devotes his attention to the problem of the undead beneath him, who are doing their best to find a way to get at him. He dodges a throwing knife that was launched at him by one of the vampires, and snuffs its life force with a Finger of Death spell. Then, he remembers something else he has in his arsenal. With a few words and gestures, he creates a cloud of roiling flame on top of the undead, and then creates a second. If they still could, their eyes would have widened in horror as the flames burned them to ashes, although some of the vampires were able to escape the cloud by becoming gaseous froms. However, as they reappeared outside, it seemed that the Incindiary Cloud had permiated the vampires' alternate forms, and thus the monsters burned up when they changed back. Encard proppled himself away from the Cloud, raining death and destruction on the head (or other body parts) of the enemy as he passed above them. However, as the levitation spell drew to a close, a massive 2-handed sword slammed into his arm, cutting down to the bone. Encard cried out in pain and turned to face his foe, to see that it was a seven foot tall skeleton warrior in full plate armor. As he struggled to draw his sword, a sword thrust struck him in the side, sending him to his knees. Forunately, the skeleton warrior had already started his strike, so it passed over Encard, but the crypt king who had delivered the second blow struck again, this time catching Encard in the shoulder, fortunately that of the arm which was already useless. As the two undead were striking him Encard was able to grab his Enhanced Wand of Flame from his belt, and dropped a massive fireball on top of himself. The two undead were burrned to ashes, but Encard, who had several rings making him impervious to fire, was unharmed, other than the wounds he had sustained. He grapped a Really Good Healing Potion from another belt slot and drank it, causing the three wounds to mostly heal. However as he looked up, he saw another group of vampires moving toards him. Farther down, he thought he caught a glimpse of Melusine and Fortuna, but in another moment he had more pressing things to worry about...

Encard rises and releases one of his personal spells at the vampires. A swarm of Demon Locusts flies at them and nibbles them, eating them before they are able to get to him, and then disappears. He unleashes his RaBid Fruit Tree's Rage spell on another group of the undead, and they are torn asunder by the RaBid Fruit Tree. Another spell causes a massive gout of flame to shoot from Encard's hands and burn at least a half-score undead to ashes. The undead number many fewer now than they were before, and Encard plans to make them even fewer. Various spells, including Encard's --=SOUL=REAVER=--, Encard's DEMONMASTERBEAM, and many others destroy undead left and right. Suddenly fighting srops, as all the undead are, well, dead. A cheer errupts from the combatants.

Lord Shield senses Encard's plight and lends him essence. Encard is surprised to find that the vampires and undead clawing at him are having no effect any more. He is pinned but taking no more harm

Encard, you are invulnerable. It's up to you how you use it. Lord Thought will not interfere while Lord Shield is doing so.

Encard thanks Lord Shield for the invulnerability. Fortnately, though, all the undead have been destroyed.
Encard: Hmm... Lot of undead... wonder if there's anything else on this ship...

Razzen, Kivan, Neb and Tiax are busy eating fried Illithid(Tastes like chicken! It was that which was making the fried squid smell) and getting really drunk when suddenly undead seems to have appeared out of nowhere and infested the ship, and some gnome which looks exactly like Tiax and acts exactly like him is attacking them, they come to the conclusion that it must be a clone or simulacrum and ignore it, they also offer Melusine some fried Illithid and ask her if she wants a swig of beer or wants to challenge any of them at playing Poker or Whist.

Fortunately Lord Thought sees through the illusion and blasts all their minds out of their ears

[Wah]

Wah enters with a magificent army from his powerful lich-dom. He stares around at the blasted bits of undead and says to him "Oh boy, am *I* going to be welcome here."

However, Kangaxx is not so pleased, resurrected by Wah - he now faces bits of his uncles and aunts. Neb chucks a fried squid across the room and it smacks Wah in the face!! Cheek!!

Wah say one word............."attack". And the rage begins!

Kangaxx starts to imprison Melusine but it reflects off her makeup +4, she makes a saving throw and slaps the demi-lich across the face.

Lord Shield is whacking a horde of Hell Liches with a Halibut +2 "The Fishy Conclusion". There is sweat, as he back up against the wall and grabs a trout, he has no penalty since he is proficient in two weapon style!

Tiax is up against Wah, but the Arch Lich misleads himself and casts a Walrus instead.
Tiax is smothered by the walrus who is attacking with a THAC0 of -1.

There is raging chao everywhere! Lord Shield cannot put himself to bear, he makes a critical hit and the trout smacks firmly onto the head of Neb!! What a mistake! LOL.

Suddenly Wah realises that he was under an enchantment. The spell breaks just in time to release the Arch Lich from the Ulitharid's Psionics! It was the Ulitharids all the time! THEY are responsible for this invasion!

But the situation is grim: Kangaxx prepares himself to cast......."The Black Grimoire".

*eep* the B-b-b-black G-g-grimoire? Erm,..... so what does that do exactly?

BTW LMAO at your spelling mistake Wah...Raging Chao everywhere?? Surely it cannot be the dreaded ragin Chao Kang??

Kangaxx??? That foul fiend!!! Melusine, glad that she put on some extra eyeliner and managed her saving throw, grabs a quarterstaff that is lying on the floor somewhere and starts to pound the demilich on the head. As the staff isn't enchanted, she sends out a thought-message to Lord Thought, who places a +5 enchantment on it. Kangaxx sqeals in pain and falls on his knees to beg for mercy. Then she flies up in the air to a great height, stretches out a leg then lets herself drop with amazing speed. Her little foot hits Kangaxx square in the jaw and he passes out on the floor. Then she steals a leg of fried squid from Neb and starts hitting her paramours assailants, pulling their underpants over their heads at the same time!
