Im playing bg2 a second time through with a monk, and i seem to remember finding the gauntlets of crushing in the sahuagin city when i first played. But, i finished the sahuagin section and i didnt find the gauntlets. My question is can the gauntlets be found here or am i just losing my mind?

The only things found in the treasury were the rod of lordly might, the magic rope and a letter.. no gauntlets

. . . . . . . . . You need to have betrayed the Prince. He has the Gauntlets, along with the Spear of Impaling. (I think - it's been a while) ------------------ |

Hmm, odd. When did you pickpocket him? How many times? I got him twice while actually in the Rebel Base.
