Is out there any good program to burn files? You know all kinds of types. I just got my new Windows XP and I must say I got Nero with it. But Nero is driving me MAD! MAD! Also my dad. He made a compilation for a friend and he wanted to burned it but no can do. When I clicked on the file wich ends as a .nr3 Nero started and it wanted a disc called 005486544 yada yada yada. How the hell should I know wich disc is it? I tried putting in all the discs used previous day but to no avail ... Any tips? Help me!

Before others reply a read of rules may be prudent.

"No Piracy: DO NOT post links to 'warez sites'. Do not discuss pirating games, bragging about pirating or anything else. This will get your account suspended or banned. The only possible thing you CAN discuss is the so-called 'cracks' for no CD operation. SOME Games don't work on some peoples CD-ROM's. This is because of a special copy protection called 'Safe Disc'. But that is it. Anything else is considered pirating."

You might consider DeepBurner. The free version doesn't have all the features of the full version, but is enough for anything I use it for. And free for personal use.

[/QUOTE]Just a friendly warning Johnny . I would hate for someone to post a reply and get into trouble for discussing the best ones for getting around software protection, we have lost too many good people over the years, self regulation is much better than having a Mod spell it out to people

What exactly are you wanting to do? If just file back-up etc..WinXp's built in file transfer works just fine.

On the spousal units desktop, which is a windoze rig, my combination is WinXp, and the same free deep burner Iron pointed out. Those two can do everything we need copied, or backed up.
