Right off the top of my head ... magic missle.
Broken down by monsters, though...? Hmm. Blind is fun to throw at beholders. False dawn is a necessity againt the vampires. (Did anyone else catch the poke -at- Anne -Rice Egyptian motif in Bodhi's lair? Mindflayers...ack. Don't remind me. If you have Minsc in your party, Chaotic Commands is a must! DP |

not a bg2 spell but Celestial host form torment had the best spell animation EVEr (a deva bashes enemy with mace of disruption, pheonix hatches from egg and flames them,aasimon shoots them with celstail bow and a gold dragon shots em with energey wave) its just an illusion though, but it does do 10-120 points damgae no save.
