Japanese- or Anime-inspired games..

Does anyone here know of any good Japanese or Anime oriented games for PC?

I know that Final Fantasy is a great series that I haven't got to play yet. A 2002 year strategy game, Battle Realms was very cool.

What I'm looking for is not necessarily RPG, so speak your mind.

Try Oni, it's a shooter with anime style graphics and gameplay, battle realms has an expansion out called "Winter of the Wolf". Final fantasy, Xenosaga, Chaos legion (i wouldn't recommend it for PC though), .hack, as well as a whole bunch of other's that I don't know about. Hope that helped.

I have the 4 in my PC... I love playing zero and all... but I got bored... boring gameplay.. or hmm.. maybe I should just try it again... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Bahamut - that was a nice game I didn't like 1-3X as the oold graphics bothered me, but X4 was cool. X5 is almost like X4, but the game doesn't have the fun balance that X4 had.

I really recommend a small fighting game, Fighters Kyodotai 2, which is available at Home of the Underdogs.

nice to know that someone remembers the existance of me. LOL

Uss probably want games that have been translated into english. since I play the original versions ( japanese version or chinese version ). I'm afraid I can't be of much help here.

However..
There is Breath of Fire 4 (PC). it's in english.

Final Fantasy (VII and VIII) on PC is mediocore at best. Very average ports! However, if you don't have a PSone/PS2 it's better than nothing!

There is a new one out of PC called "XIII" its a manga inspied comic shoot very new age style.

Or go classic with "Ghost in the Shell" on PS.

"Chocobo racing",your average racing game

"Jojo's Bizare Adventures" weird wild and wacky fighting game.

Gundam any will do. thats about all I can think of right now
