My personal experience. Choose shapeshift ability to fire elemental. Jaheira becomes really good fighter (with that +6 spear) when shapeshifted to fire elemental. Summon greater elementals is also quite good if you summon elemental prince of course. Implosion and Storm of vengeance are good choice too.
