Yep... oatmeal for brains there...

Did I ever tell youse guys about my buddies crossing over to Canada? Customs guard asked the standard questions (where are you going, how long will you be there, any alcohol, tobacco, or firearms).

When he got to "firearms", one buddy looked at the other and asked, "Do you think that includes the M16 broken down in the trunk?"

Customs agents don't think that's funny. They pulled the car over and spent the next hour taking things apart until they found that M16... which wasn't there...

After an hour, they were allowed to reassemble the car and given a nasty warning. Truth is, they could still be in the slammer...

Reminds me of the article Dreamer posted about the girl who tried to skive off a luxary cruise by announcing there was a terrorist threat to the ship.

Airport security: "We have good news and bad news for you, Mr. Dummasse. The good news is that your plan worked and the plane is on it's way back to the airport. The bad news is that you are still going to miss your flight."

Cost of Cell Phone Call: 10 cents a minute.

Cost of diverting plane: 500 x proffessional rate@hour, price of Airport Fees, Jet Fuel, delays on the ground due to one less active departure gate as well as the salaries and supplies of the detainment team & the search team: $5,000,000.00.

Getting 30 years in a Federal Penitentiary because you were too much of an Jerk to get your butt outta bed in time to catch your flight: Priceless.

Why do people continue to do these things? Haven't they heard the stories of people doing similar stuff? You humans don't cease to surprise me.
