getting a good party

Well Im already in chapter 3 and still have only 5 characters:
- Ertai (me, halfelf sorceror)
- Minsc (funny guy as usual)
- Jaheira (s*cking as usual)
- Yotsimo (saying funny things)
- Nalia (im still waiting for Imoen je je)

I need another but the NPCs ive found arent very good: korgan is evil and the other too are cleric multiclass or dual class, and i dont need another cleric. Ive heard there is a human fighter or paladin over there, could someone tell me where ??

If you are looking for a paladin, then accept the Unseen Eyes quest and Keldorn will be available in the sewers below temple district.

You might want to give Valygar (ranger) a try, if you want a fighter type. He is in the Umer Hills region.

If you want another good spellcaster, then get Edwin in the MaeVar thievs guild quest. Talk to Renal Bloodscalp in the shadow thieves place.

So quick to dismiss Korgan, even though he's the best fighter in the game. If you want my advice on a party at this point, take Minsc, Korgan, Jaheira, Viconia and Yoshimo.

I already have Edwin so Ill have to throw Nalia (though I think shes nice)
About Korgan, Armisael, im chaotic good, and so is Minsc and Yoshimo. But if I take Edwin maybe I could take Korgan too, The only point is that if i take him i should go to the cemetery and im not in the mood now. I also think Minsc and Edwin will argue a lot

Alignment has almost no bearing on how your group act amongst each other. The only thing you have to watch is your reputation. Don't let it go above eighteen. Mazzy's lawful good, Korgan's chaotic evil, and those two get along well - better than 'well' on occasion (and damn that's funny). But you're right, certain NPCs who have a grudge against each other will fight, Minsc and Edwin being two of them. This isn't affected by alignment, it's just part of their script.

ok if alignment doesnt matter, ill take korgan, i need a fighter NOW

and about minsc, i know, ive played BG1 so i suppose theyre gonna argue. Even from the starting of our relation with edwin, minsc started complaining and telling he would kill him.

Yo adhrael it's nice you finely got the game
But i though you were a half-orc fighter (thats what azreall told me so)
But i say Valygar is a good Ranger with profs on katana's and that is very usefull
He is in a Cabin in the northwestern section of the umer hill map

You could try to fing Keldron a paladin in the sewers one downside he has a very low dex
the rest of you party should be something like
Jan jansen in the goverment district (He is dutch )
Viconia in the goveerment district (no this is not a dubble type they are both there)
Edwin in the MaeVar thiefguild coz he just rockx

That's about it
or you could get anomen instead of viconia in a good party but he is very irritating i've heard

Ive played a few hours since i posted here (approx. 90% of the time ) and my party now consists of me, jaheira, minsc, keldorn, yoshimo and edwin. I think i will keep it till the end (with the possible change of Edwin Imoen). I think when i finish this party ill start an evil one with halforc berserker, korgan, edwin, viconia and probably yoshimo if i dont find an evil thief in the game. Well, Im going back to BG2, ive got LOTS of quests to do
