No problem,
Keep yourself scooched down when you're doing that; they're watching!

If your house is very dry, you may also be dealing with simple static electricity.

Sadly, just about anything can generate sudden pops on RF frequencies...I'd suggest possibly setting aside a small contribution to the computer fund in case it's not a cleaning issue.

I wanted to give an interesting update on the situation of speaker popping. I discovered it shortly after reinstalling the firmware from Creative, which I detailed in another thread. The speaker popping may have actually got worse with the install of that firmware, though it did fix the other issue of dead speakers when watching a show on Netflix or Hulu.

What I did to get rid of the static (100%...and this was just an experiment, but it worked!) is that I switched from 5.1 to 2.1 which stopped the popping...and then switched back to 5.1. I am referring to the use of the software in the Creative Audio Console. The only downside is that I have to do it each time I initiate the speakers.

So...if you are having popping problems, give this a try and let me know if it works for you too.
