I was just wondering if anyone else out there
likes to play druids. I have found that dispite
the enormous amount of experience needed to go
from 13 to 14th level, druids are good characters.
Insect plague in my opinion is one of the most useful
spells, I've killed liches with the aid of this spell.
Delorus Decay is just devistating when it hits, and
fire elementals (especially the big ones) can do some
serious damage. I have been playing the Totemic Druid,
so I get spirit animals that have been very helpful.
I guess that I like to summon stuff to make my adventuring
a little easier.

for powergaming: shapshifter dual fighter!
this is the second best character in duel!

for just regular game play, druid is one of a kind. it definately adds some incredible experiences to your game

Welcome to the IronWorks Forum
Yes I have played a Druid Avenger and
also Totemic Druid but it can be a very hard
Character to play so I usually play a multi class
Mage/Thief/Fighter most of the time or a
Kensai/Mage three times so far, oh yeah I played a
Fighter/Druid once just after SoA was released last year.
Talk to you later.

actually, i have an avenger druid helping my custom made party, and i havent gotten any massive damage yet! their mage spells help alot, especially Chaos and Chain Lightning. their armor restrictions are easily ignored if they have sling usage, and i actually have the druid serving as my only cleric (beside my ranger)! so therefore, druids dont suck really, just slow bloomers in the double digits!

It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.

What are you saying? Are you trying to tell me you have feelings now? Ha, ha, ha... Stop acting as if you're sad. And there's no need to act as if you're angry either. Because, Cloud, you are... a puppet.

I like Druids....with a nice Chianti and some fava beans...

Seriously though, druids are a -lot- more fun in PnP D&D than in a cRPG. I'd play a druid, merely for the added strategy. They have some cool spells, that change how you play the game. Insect plague + spike growth can really mess up spellcasters. They get some nice summons too. Frankly, I like the Avenger druid the best. The shapeshifter (from my experiences with Cernd) is weak, and the summoner can really only summon fodder at higher levels. The Avenger makes a druid a more powerful spellcaster. In fact, I think I'll play one next. Good thread, and welcome to the board.

Druids are nice, but Avengers and Totemic Druids really rock.

Shapeshifters: eh, I don't really want to fight with my Druid.
