EB is now reporting the release date for HotU to be sometime in December. Has anyone heard anything of an official day yet? Until then, it's all speculation.

I read someone from Bioware saying that any release dates on sites and in shops were made up by the owners. they had a target date to finish it but after they've finished it, atari takes over so they don't know the release date themselves.

Unofficially it has always been December...At least that's what Geroge over at Bioware tells us. They keep it open just in case another delay like that of the original NWN's happens - that way people can't technically bitch that It's late.

How long after HotU comes out will all our favorite servers be updated and compatable? Is it better to hold off on HotU to play online.. or what?

I couldn't tell ya. I assume that everybody that has a server running and cares enough for the people that play them to have the expansion within a week, and some can do what Ziroc did, which was to give everybody a date as to when the new version would be running. Besides those presumptions, based on what I know of how Ziroc runs his stuff, I can say no more.

I found it better to run a server with only NWN's content in it and then 'crack' it so even though I had SOU installed, it would still be tagged as needing NWN's only. I lost alot of people due to the change and the same will undoubtdebly happen with HotU so I'll probably stick to what I'm doing.
