I have been playing Black & White for hours now and am completely frustrated so thought I would come somewhere and get some sympathy. I know it's not a D&D game, but thought I would give it a try. It is completely frustrating and there doesn't seem to be any rewards for it. You have to take care of several villages and your creature and it seems like your villagers and/or your creature can't do anything for themselves. I started out liking the game, but now am pulling my hair out. I think I will go back to BG2. The B&W board doesn't even compare to this one, takes forever to get a decent reply.

Yes, I would definitely give it a thumbs down. Fun for awhile, then it loses its fizzle, if you know what I mean. BG2 is a lot more rewarding and fun. Yes, good to be back to the dark side of gaming. Plus (a very big plus) everyone is so much more helpful and friendlier on this board. Seems like one big happy family.

B&W is more of a SIMS type game...

in-depth, detailed, but there are no GOALS....

it can be frustrating to an A-type of gaming personality...

You dont have to help the villagers out. You can complete the game being a evil god too. They will give you belief points out of fear if you send your creature out to kill them.

If you on the home page forum I'm there! (Fallen One)
Okay the game got bugs (lots and lots of bugs) but it a challange and I think it was ment to be a online game more then a offline one (5 levels come on) even a message from one of the creaters said 'When we get the online world up and running to can use your creature that you developed playing single player' (or something like that).
