I'm finally installing BG2-SoA and am configuring. I have a 1G Mhz board, 256M RAM, Elsa ErazorX2 video card w/ GeForce256 based chip (32M), and have the graphics set at 800x600. The test shows the 3 colored rectangles, and the graphics are clear & sharp. The only problem is that while the picture is perfectly centered when not in the game, it shifts to the left when in the game. Any suggestions other than to reset the monitor?

Appreciate the help. This board is excellent!

i have had this problem in the past but it hasn't been an issue for me lately. Its hard to remember but i think it might have been fixed after installing ToB. Perhaps one of the patches addresses this issue?

Fairly sure this is to do with refresh rate. When you start the game it changes the screen / refresh rate to what ever you have set it to - there is a good chance that you don't normally run at 60Hz (being so low) and that the monitor defaults the screen to the left (you could change the screen position using the monitor settings but this may upset the screen when you come out) - I suggest that you exit the game and edit the .ini file and change the refresh to 72 or 85 as a minimum (depending on your card) - I run at 1024 without any problems on a relivivly lo spec machine. - Read the text file in the game folder to give further details about adding refresh rates and all other tweeks
- post a reply if you are still having problems
